Our fly shop concentrates almost exclusively on the Missouri River Fisherman. Montana River Outfitters is the oldest shop in the Wolf Creek area and the oldest outfitter in the entire Missouri River canyon. With the turn-over of the seasons this has allowed the staff and owners of Montana River Outfitters to obtain copious amounts of knowledge of the Missouri and surrounding rivers and in turn offer our customers the most in depth and accurate information possible. Not only does the Wolf Creek Fly shop boast one of the largest selections of fly patterns in the canyon, but they carry an appropriate assortment of ever changing and standard fly patterns that WORK! Whether it be tippet, leaders, fly boxes, strike indicators or polarized sunglasses, the Montana River Outfitter’s staff is more than happy to set you with with all the gear and information needed to catch fish!
The Montana River Outfitters shops also stock a full selection of Temple Fork Outfitters Rods and Reels, RIO, Scientific Anglers, Umpqua, Dr. slick, Outcast pontoons, Clack-a-craft drift boats, plus all the extras! We even stock local hand tied flies! River trips are offered via; raft, canoe or kayaks! New Clack-a-craft drift boats are available for rental daily to get you down the river and onto the fish. Raft, canoes and kayaks and equipment are offered for rentals for the “do-it-yourselfer”.
