The Missouri River is know for some of the greatest sight fishing for large trout sipping dries in the lower 48! The Missouri has been a productive tail water since the late 1920s, and will continue to be one of Montana’s finest for decades to come.

Whether it's tippet, leaders, fly boxes, strike indicators, or polarized sunglasses, the Montana River Outfitter’s staff is more than happy to set you up with all the gear and information needed to catch fish!

We even stock local hand tied flies! River trips are offered via rafts, canoes, or kayaks! New ClackaCraft drift boats are available for rental daily to get you down the river and onto the fish. Rafts, canoes, kayaks, and equipment are offered for rentals for the “do-it-yourselfer.”
